Fall Events
FC Activity Fair
Franklin College HfH sets up a booth at
the FC Activity Fair held for all students the Monday before classes
begin. Stop by for more information about Habitat and to sign up to
become a member!
Shanty Village
Students create teams of four and build
homes out of cardboard on Dame Mall. They spend the night in these
cardboard shanties and help to raise awareness of homelessness.
Homecoming
HfH sets up a booth each year at
homecoming and sells posterboard bricks that are displayed on a house
cutout. The money is used to help Habitat for Humanity.
Trick or Treat for Change
Close to Halloween flyers are sent
around a local neighborhood and club members go trick or treating for
change to support Habitat.
Birdhouse Auction
Students, faculty, and staff decorate
birhouses that are sold before Christmas during a silent auction on
campus. This is our biggest fundraiser during the year!

Spring
Events
Collegiate Challenge
Each Spring Break Franklin College
Habitat for Humanity holds a spring break Collegiate Challenge. Groups
of students travel to different places and work with other Habitat
affiliates. In the past these trips have taken us to Georgia, Ohio,
Mississippi, West Virginia, and Kentucky!
Habifest
Habifest is a Lego house building
competition held in the middle of the spring. Along with building Lego
houses, teams compete in penny wars that help to raise money for
Habitat.
