Pribush holds two mathematics degrees from the University of Delaware, a bachelor's with high honors and a master's.

Her areas of interest were Riemann spaces and topology. For several years, she traveled and taught mathematics in colleges in North Carolina, Oklahoma, Kansas and Germany. She came to Franklin College in 1981 to teach mathematics and computer science. In 1985, she earned a master's degree in computer science from Purdue University at Indianapolis.

Pribush says that serving as director of the leadership program has provided many opportunities for personal growth, including trips to Taiwan, Russia and Norway, as well as participation in a W.K. Kellogg Foundation study group, which produced the book Leadership Reconsidered.
