Carole McKinney joined the Franklin College faculty after working as a school psychologist with the Indianapolis Public Schools. Her work as chair of the advisory board for the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities reflects a long-time interest in gifted and talented education. She has been active in helping to develop mental health services for children and adults in Johnson County and southern Marion County. She is currently president of the board of directors of the Adult and Child Center, a comprehensive mental health facility. She is a past member of the Edinburgh school board and has worked with a number of community social service agencies. In addition to teaching classes, she serves as licensure officer and student liaison.
