David Brailow is vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college at Franklin College. He serves on the President's Cabinet and on several faculty and college committees. His areas of responsibility include academic programs and support, faculty governance, and academic issues pertaining to students. All questions relating to these aspects of the college should be directed to him.

Brailow serves on the board of Community Involved in Learning and as a tutor for Franklin Study Connection. He spent more than 20 years as an English professor and has published articles, book chapters and reviews on contemporary performances of Shakespeare. Brailow, his wife (a kindergarten teacher) and daughter are passionate readers and lovers of music.
