Jen is a graduate of Albion College in Albion, Michigan. She majored in Economics and was in the corporate world before finding her home in higher education. Jen's mission is to ensure that every student who can be successful in college is successfully making it to college. She believes in empowering students to reach their dreams and is passionate about her work. Jen mimics the Anatole France philosophy that, "nine tenths of education is encouragement," and understands that giving encouragement and showing passion in her work will lead to the success of her students in their educational endeavors.

In her spare time, Jen enjoys any time spent with her 10-year-old son, Adam.
