Eric Kramer was appointed assistant coach for the Franklin College men's and women's cross country and track and field programs in July, 2007. He currently serves as the team's strength and conditioning coach, works with sprinters and jumpers during the track season, and fulfills other duties such as recruiting, meet preparation, and daily practice management.

He graduated from Saint Joseph's College in 2007 with a B.A. in history with a minor in physical education. After a stellar career, he held SJC records in the 110-meter hurdles, decathlon, and 4 x 100 relay events. Kramer was a three time NCAA Division II National Qualifier (once in 110 hurdles & twice in 55 hurdles) and three All-Conference selections. He earned four varsity letters and was named team captain during his senior year at SJC.

Kramer graduated from Southridge High School in 2003. He was a four-year letter winner in football and track and field, and was named team MVP all four years in track. During his senior year, he was a two-sport state qualifier, starting on both defense and offense for a state runner-up football team and qualifying for state in both the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles. Kramer holds high school, conference and sectional records in the 300 hurdles, and the conference record for the 110 hurdles.
