After graduating summa cum laude from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Dr. Crisafulli earned her master's degree in English from the University of Tennessee and her doctorate in medieval literature from Vanderbilt University. She has taught literature, composition, and film not only at the University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt, but also at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. At FC, she joyfully teaches medieval and Renaissance literature, Shakespeare, world literature, and LA 101.

When she's not devoting her time and energy to the students at FC, she studies modern dance and volunteers with the Girl Scouts and with Heifer International.
