Thanks to the 4-1-4 academic terms at Franklin College, students have the opportunity to take travel courses during winter term (the entire month of January). The classes meet on campus for the first week in January to acquire basic knowledge about the places and people that they will be visiting. Students have visited such places as Australia, Belize, England, France, Italy, Mexico, Egypt, Norway and Brazil. Winter Term travel courses expose students to other cultures, encourage them to broaden their horizons, and help them accrue credit hours that count toward graduation.
