Chad Rupp playing professional football in Germany
FRANKLIN, Ind. (May 6) – Chad Rupp, who broke most of Franklin College’s single-season and career passing records last fall, is now playing professional football for the Schwaebisch Hall Unicorns of the German Football League.

Rupp, McManus named Grizzlies' Co-MVPs in annual awards program
FRANKLIN, Ind. (Feb. 8) – Senior quarterback Chad Rupp (Evansville, Ind./Memorial H.S.) and senior defensive end Dan McManus (Cincinnati, Ohio/Roger Bacon H.S.) were the co-recipients of the Stewart “Red” Faught Most Valuable Player honor for the 2008 football season during today’s annual team awards program.

Rupp, McManus named to D3football.com All-America teams
FRANKLIN, Ind. (Dec. 30) – Franklin College’s Chad Rupp (Evansville, Ind./Memorial H.S.) and Dan McManus (Cincinnati, Ohio/Roger Bacon H.S.) both earned another honor for the 2008 football season. The seniors were named to the 2008 D3football.com All-America Second Team and Third Team, respectively, the Website announced Saturday.

McManus named to D3football.com All-North Region First Team
FRANKLIN, Ind. (Dec. 11) – Franklin College’s Dan McManus (Cincinnati, Ohio/Roger Bacon H.S.) was named First Team Defense, Chad Rupp (Evansville, Ind./Memorial H.S.) and Chad Schenkel (Carmel, Ind./H.S.) were selected Second Team Offense, and Seth Qualls (Evansville, Ind./Reitz H.S.) was named Third Team Offense on the 2008 D3football.com All-North Region Team, the Website announced Wednesday.

Wheaton ends Franklin's NCAA Division III playoff run
FRANKLIN, Ind. (Dec. 6) – Wheaton’s big plays and a strong rushing attack proved to be too much for host Franklin College today in their NCAA Division III football quarterfinal playoff game on a snowy Franklin Community High School field.
