Franklin finishes second in HCAC Championship
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (May 3) - Franklin College's men's golf team slipped past Anderson in today's fourth and final round to end up second in the 2008 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship at Chestnut Hills Golf Course. The Grizzlies posted a team score of 327 to finish with a total of 1277 shots.
Grizzlies still third, but close in on Anderson in HCAC third round
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (May 2) - Franklin College remained in third place, but pulled to within one shot of second-place Anderson in today's third round of the 2008 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship at Chestnut Hills Golf Course. The Grizzlies combined for a team score of 322 to bring their three-round total to 950.
Grizzlies third after two rounds of HCAC Championship
SEYMOUR, Ind. (April 26) - Franklin College slipped one spot to third in the team standings in the second round of the 2008 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship at Shadowood Golf Course today. The Grizzlies combined for a team score of 317 to post a two-round total of 628 (see second-day results by clicking the team score of 628 on the Men's Golf Schedule page).
FC second in opening round of HCAC Championship
SEYMOUR, Ind. (April 25) - Franklin College came in second in the first round of the 2008 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship at Shadowood Golf Course today. The Grizzlies posted a team score of 311, trailing defending HCAC men's golf champion Transylvania by 14 shots (see first-day results by clicking the team score of 311 on the Men's Golf Schedule page).
Ridge selected HCAC player of the week for third time
FRANKLIN, Ind. (April 21) - Franklin College’s Justin Ridge (Sullivan, Ind./H.S.), who earned the medalist honor in the Rose-Hulman Invitational this past weekend, today was named the Heartland Conference men's golf player of the week for the third time this season (week of April 14-20).
