FRANKLIN, Ind. (May 7) - One Franklin College player was selected to the 2008 All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference softball team as announced by the league office today. The Grizzlies’ lone honoree was junior catcher and outfielder Marlene Russo (Clayton, Ind./Cascade H.S.).

FRANKLIN, Ind. (April 22) - Franklin College rallied from a two-run deficit in the fifth inning and then held on for a 7-6 victory in the opening game, but dropped a 9-2 verdict in the second contest with Transylvania at the American Legion field today.

FRANKLIN, Ind. (April 20) - Junior shortstop Jen Pogue (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate H.S.) hit a sacrifice fly to score the winning run in the ninth inning of Franklin College's 7-6 victory over Manchester in the first of their two doubleheader games this afternoon.
Grizzlies give up late lead in opener with Mount St. Joseph
FRANKLIN, Ind. (April 16) - Franklin College scored five times in the sixth inning to take command in its softball doubleheader opener with visiting Heartland Conference foe Mount St. Joseph, but then let its four-run advantage slip away in the seventh in a 9-8 decision today.
