(April 26) - Franklin College held a nine-shot lead after Saturday's first round, but Transylvania improved its team score by 19 strokes in the second half and ultimately edged the Grizzlies by four shots in the Grizzly Spring Invitational women's golf event at The Legends of Indiana today.

Franklin 4th in weather-shortened Transylvania Spring Classic
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 6) - Franklin College's "A" team ended up fourth in the Transylvania University Spring Classic in women's golf action. The final results included 16 holes for all players since lightning on Sunday afternoon forced an early finish for the last four groups on the course. Today's scheduled second round was cancelled because of poor weather conditions.
Grizzlies open spring schedule with 6th-place finish in Texas
GEORGETOWN, Texas (March 31) - The Franklin College women's golf team finished sixth among nine teams in the Southwestern University Invitational, which concluded today with the second round at Berry Creek Golf Course.
