Grizzlies narrowly miss NCAA Division III nationals berth
INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 20) - Franklin College came oh so close to earning its first berth in the NCAA Division III Championships in today's Heartland Conference women's tennis tournament title match.

Franklin earns HCAC's top freshman and coach honors
FRANKLIN, Ind. (Oct. 16) - Franklin College's Morgan Bright (Greenwood, Ind./H.S.) was named Freshman of the Year and teammate Emily Ruch (Lebanon, Ind./Frankfort H.S.) also was selected to the 2007 All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis team, the league office announced today.

Grizzlies tie for second in HCAC Individual Tournament
INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 13) - The Franklin College women's tennis team finished in a second-place tie with Rose-Hulman in the 2007 HCAC Individual Championships Tournament (flighted) at the West Indy Racquet Club today.

Franklin soaks up Homecoming atmosphere with home-court victory
FRANKLIN, Ind. (Oct. 6) - The Grizzlies competed right smack in the middle of all the Homecoming festivities today and enjoyed a 7-2 victory over visiting women’s tennis foe Midway College. FC improved to 9-5 in overall dual matches this season.

Ruch earns HCAC player of the week honor
FRANKLIN, Ind. (Oct. 1) - Franklin College’s Emily Ruch (Lebanon, Ind./Frankfort H.S.), who finished the week 4-0 in conference action and 5-1 overall, today was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week (matches from Sept. 24-30).
