National History

Dissatisfied with the current fraternities on campus and seeking a close-knit organization committed their high standards and ideals, ten members of the Commons Club at Middlebury College met in Room 14 of Old Painter Hall on May 17, 1905 and founded the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity.

The Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho was founded at Franklin College on May 24, 1919 under the leadership of Brother F.C. Ewart.

THE CREDO

The Credo was written by Brother George E. Shaw, Alpha ’10 and expresses the true meanings of brotherhood and the fraternal spirit.

FLOWER: Red Rose

COLORS: Middlebury Blue and Princeton Orange

MASCOT: Peregrine Falcon
