Granada
14th-15th

Granada was a very beautiful city in Spain.  We stayed in a Hotel inside the Alhambra one night, and we awoke to a place that was very peacful and calm.  Alhambra means red structure, I believe, since most of the buildings were made of reddish stones.  This city was one of my favorites, and I hope I can convey some of the beauty I encountered here through the following pictures.

The Alhambra
The Patio de Los Leones
This marble fountain is held up by 12 marble lions.  The many fountains in the palace help to keep the rooms cool during the blistering summer months.  When we went here it was freezing inside the palace so I suppose this is true.
