Welcome to my website!  Let me tell you a little about myself and about the Guadalajara Immersion Program this site is dedicated to.  I am a sophomore English/ Spanish major here at Franklin.  The Guadalajara Immersion class is offered every two years as a travel option during our January Winter Term.  I chose to take this Winter Term travel course to augment my Spanish speaking and listening comprehension skills.  On January 3, 2005, eleven of us traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico, and lived with host families for three weeks while taking classes in the city.  Each day, we commuted to the Arcos de San Francisco in the center of the city and were paired with a maestro, who led us on a different educational tour in a different part of the city.  We were required to speak in Spanish all day, every day.  It wasn't all work, however; on weekends, we took side trips to places like Ajijic and Puerto Vallarta.  Explore the links above to take a look at photos from this year's class.  Enjoy the trip! --Megan
