Course Description: This was a Winter Term Class offered by Franklin College.  
The course instructor was Dr. William Pohley. The trip was January 15th-January 24th.
The 22 students spent the first two weeks of January learning about coral reefs and the creatures that live in the reef.  
The students also studied the history of Belize.  
The course was defined by the syllabus as:
The course will provide students with a basic understanding of tropical ecosystems with
emphasis on the coral reef ecosystem. The culture of modern Belize as well as that of the
Mayan civilization will also be studied. We will discuss issues involved with international
travel. Students will also learn some basic guidelines for improving their photographic skills as
well as the basics of web page design and construction.
