Belize 2007: A Winter Term Adventure
In the month of January of the year 2007 a group of 22 Franklin College students and 2 professors travelled to the Central American country of Belize. This webpage chronicles the activities of these students as they explored both the terrestrial and aquatic offerings of this picturesque tropical nation. Whether it was scaling Mayan ruins, treking through the jungle, swimming under waterfalls, or snorkeling in the pristine Caribbean waters to view the array of species inhabiting the beautiful barrier reef ecosystem, the students were always participating in some form of adventure.
