Viva Mexico

Before the trip there were mixed emotions of fear and excitement.  Three weeks in a foreign country- What would our family be like?  Would we forget all our Spanish?  Would we get lost in the city?  But, we left Indiana with the highest of expectations.

                                             El teatro degollado in Guadalajara

When the three weeks came to an end, we were definitely excited to return to the United States and our families here, but there were tears, too.  We had bonded with our mama and all the teachers in Guadalajara.  It felt like we were leaving a family behind.  The trip was an experience that changed our lives and one that we will ne ver forget.  From walking around the city and traveling to Puerta Vallarta, we learned Mexican culture and the unexpected about ourselves.  So go.  ¿Porque no?
