After 21 days in Guadalajara, Mexico, our favorite saying was "Si Se Puede", which means "Yes you can!"
This saying got us through terrifying bus rides, getting lost in the city, eating new foods, and trying new things. |
| Jana, Reymundo (our little brother), and Jasmin. |

Everyday, we
toured cities surrounding Guadalajara and we walked everywhere. Anytime
we had the opprotunity to sit, it was a welcomed break. |
 |
| Above are pictures of our
teachers who taught us all that we know about Guadalajara. They were
our friends, and they helped make this our favorite trip. |
 |
These are
photos from classes. The left photo is from the Safari ride at the zoo.
The right photo is from the highest point in Tonala. |
 |
| These photos are from our first
weekend adventure to Mazamitlan. The first two photos are from lunch on
Lake Chiflan, and the last photo is from the town square of Mazamitlan.
We participated in a Mazamitlan tradition with confetti-filled eggs and
foam. |
| The above photos are from the
mini-vacation to Puerto Vallarta. We relaxed on the beach,
shopped for souvenirs, and relaxed on the beach a little more. |
| Above are photos from our final party. We broke two pinatas and took lots of pictures. |
| All in all, the course "Immersion
in Cultural and Language of Mexico" was an amazing experience. If
you have the chance to go to take a study abroad course, you should
take it. Opportuinities like this only happen once in a lifetime... or
every other year. |
