My family Blanca and LuisMy family Blanca and Luis. We also had a dog, Pele, and their grandson, Alex.During the final fiesta we were the traditional dress of the state of Jalisco. We had classes every monday to learn the traditional dance and song of Mexico which we presented at the final fiesta.Me in a traditional Mexican outfit.

This is the church located in the center of Guadalajara. We met here every morning for classes.This is the Plaza de Armas. It is located in the center section of Guadalajara also. In the background is the church of Guadalajara.After the painful walk up a hill a climb up steep stairs we arrived at this beautiful church. It was definitely worth the hard walk.

The adventure in the restaraunt of Mexicanismo was a time I'll never forget. Here I was given an insturment from a member of the mariachi band and a sombero from Guty, a teacher.My teacher Norma and I stopped to take a rest and made a new friend on the bench.

At a park in Manzanilla, I stand on top of a slide.We stopped for a rest in Manzanilla at a beautiful park around a lake. Of course we had to take time to enjoy the playground.The center of Puerto Vallarta was filled with statues all along the boardwalk. Here teachers Dan and Guicho make a daring move, climbing up the ladder of one of the statues. One of the most beautiful sights of the trip was the view of a sunset over the Pacific Ocean in Puerto Vallarta.We took a safari ride at the zoo in Guadalajara. This young giraffe wanted all the carrots we had. He wasn't shy about sticking his head in the vehicle.We were taken on a suprise trip to the largest lake in Mexico, Chapala. This is a view from a restaraunt we stopped and ate at.This was a beautiful view of Guadalajara from atop a hill. It took a lot of energy to walk up but it was definitely worth it.
