Scholarship Details
Edith E. Collette Endowed Scholarship
SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND
Edith E. Collette was the widow of George Collette, a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and an economics major who graduated from Franklin College in 1925. The Collettes were loyal supporters of the College. Mrs. Collette established this scholarship to assist "young men who are well motivated for a college education and in need of financial help. Applicants should have a well-rounded personality and should have a wide interest and curiosity about and respect for society in which they live."
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
The Edith E. Collete Endowed Scholarship is available to male, full-time students in good standing who display the attitudes and motivation Mrs. Collette described in establishing the award. The financial aid office selects the recipients.
