Thomas K. Ehret Endowed Scholarship
Dr. Thomas K. Ehret was described as one of the most popular faculty members on the Franklin College campus during his 13 years as a member of the English faculty. Before his accidental death, Ehret was the academic advisor for Delta Delta Delta sorority, was active in theatre productions and devoted his life to his students. Dr. Ehret was a graduate of the University of Colorado and earned his masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Illinois. Following his death, friends, students and colleagues established the Thomas K. Ehret Scholarship in his honor.
The Thomas K. Ehret Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior majoring in English. Candidates for the scholarship will be judged on academic merit. The chair of the English department will determine the recipients.
