Greater Indianapolis Endowed Scholarship
SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND
In 1984, Franklin College celebrated its sesquicentennial. Many groups, including alumni, students and campus leaders, sought ways to mark the historic occasion. Franklin College alumni from the Indianapolis area wanted to celebrate the College's past by helping to ensure its future. More specifically, they wanted to encourage quality students from Indianapolis area schools to pursue their education at Franklin College. To that end, they created the Greater Indianapolis Endowed Scholarship.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Recipients must be graduates from high schools in the greater Indianapolis area. They must be in the top 25 percent of their class and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Recipients must have a combined SAT score of at least 1,000 or an ACT composite of 21 or higher. Franklin College's financial aid office will screen and select recipients
