C. Dwight Klinck Memorial Preministerial Scholarship


SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND

Dwight Klinck came to Franklin College in 1959 to serve as chaplain and dean of students. He also taught philosophy and religion courses at the college. Rev. Klinck was born in Logansport, IN, and attended Dennison University and Colgate Rochester Divinity School. The scholarship in his name was established by donations from family and friends following his death in 1976.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Recipients of the scholarship must be full-time students in good standing with the college. Preference will be given to students preparing for a life in the ministry. Recipients are selected by the the chair of the philosophy and religion department.
