Harve E. and Joyce E. Rawson Endowment

SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND

Dr. Harve E. Rawson and his wife, Joyce, spent only a few years at Franklin College, where Dr. Rawson served as dean of faculty in the mid-1990s. However, the school, its people and its faculty made an impression on the couple. When Dr. Rawson set up a scholarship fund to honor his wife's many years of service as a teacher, Franklin College benefited. In addition to the awards being given from this endowed scholarship, the fund established with the Madison and Jefferson County Community Foundation will continue making distributions of the annual distributable dollar amount allocated to the designated fund to Franklin College and will be subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Students graduating from a high school in Jefferson County and enrolled to attend Franklin College are qualified to receive the Harve E. and Joyce E. Rawson Scholarship.
