Timothy V. Hasewinkel Endowed Scholarship
Timothy Hasewinkel was part of the Franklin College family before he came to Franklin in 1980. His mother, Crystal Fox Hasewinkel, graduated in 1947. His older brothers, John and Tom, graduated in 1978 and 1980, and an uncle was a member of the Class of 1952. Sadly, Timothy Hasewinkel died during his sophomore year at Franklin. The promising young man was a resident assistant, a dean's list student and a member of several organizations. With his academic honors and leadership roles on campus, Mr. Hasewinkel set a standard of excellence and accomplishment for future generations of Franklin College students.
The Timothy V. Hasewinkel Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to sophomore students at Franklin College. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for the scholarship. A committee headed by the college's Dean of the Chapel will select the recipients of the award.
