Dr. Leonard L. & Dr. Ma. Teresa Bissonnette Endowed Scholarship in Pre-Medicine I

SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND

Dr. Leonard Bissonnette, a member of the Franklin College Class of 1962, and his wife, Dr. Ma. Teresa Bissonnette, have established a scholarship at Franklin College in honor of Len's education and their lifelong love of medicine and service to the community. Len is a retired radiologist, and his wife, Terry, is a pediatrician. This scholarship will benefit students in the sciences who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

First preference is for a first-year student majoring in the natural sciences who intends to pursue medical school and demonstrates financial need. Second preference is for an upper-class student majoring in the natural sciences who intends to pursue medical school and demonstrates financial need. Third preference is for an incoming or upper-class student majoring in the natural sciences and who intends to pursue medical school. Recipient(s) will be selected from among eligible students by the office of financial aid in consultation with the Chair of the Natural Sciences Division.
