Mission

Kappa Delta Rho is a brotherhood committed in all aspects of fraternity life. The men of KDR are actively involved as leaders of other campus organizations and the chapter sponsors and participates in a wide variety of social activities. The brothers are in various events, activities, clubs and sports teams at Franklin College. KDR also excels academically, as the chapter grade point average is consistently the highest among campus fraternities and the all college average.

Events/Accomplishments

Kappa Delta Rho currently has brothers represented in over 15 organizations on campus, and serve as leaders in most of them. KDR has a high number of brothers serving as Resident Assistants, New Student Leadership Seminar mentors, and Student Congress members. The chapter hosts several annual philanthropy events such as Miss Blue & Gold and a pancake breakfast during Homecoming. The proceeds from these events all benefit their local philanthropy, The Boys and Girls Club of Franklin. KDR was named as the National KDR Chapter of the Year in 2005 and Chapter of the Year for 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 at Franklin College. This chapter of KDR consistently wins awards both at the local and national level ranging from scholarship achievement, new member education, philanthropy involvement and more.

Membership Requirements

KDR strives for excellence in their brotherhood and pushes all brothers to excel academically and socially. The G.P.A. requirement for brotherhood is 2.25 on a 4.0 scale. KDR encourages all brothers to be as involved on campus as possible, yet stresses never to lose sight of the importance of academics and staying active in the chapter.
