Mission
Phi Delta Theta was organized with three principle objectives: The cultivation of friendship among its members, the acquisition individually of a high degree of mental culture, and the personal attainment of a high standard of morality. The Franklin College Indiana Delta chapter of Phi Delta Theta strives to exemplify these principles in their everyday lives.
Events/Accomplishments
Phi Delta Theta was officially re-chartered at Franklin College on April 5, 2008. Phi Delts are involved in many organizations throughout the campus and community. During the spring of 2010, the chapter will be celebrating its 150th year on Franklin College’s campus. Each year the members work to raise money and awareness for the ALS Foundation to aid in research and treatment for patients with Lou Gehrig's disease. In the spring of 2009 our chapter was recognized with several awards including: Greek Man of the Year, Living the Ritual, Best New Member, Best Scholarship Program, and the Best Greek Event of the Year.
Membership Requirements
Our chapter maintains a GPA above 3.0. We require that all initiates have at least a 2.5 G.P.A. to be initiated. We look for members who have the qualities that reflect our three cardinal principles.
