Disability Services
Franklin College is committed to providing equal access to students with disabilities. Reasonable and appropriate accommodations will be provided to students with disabilities to ensure equal access to academic programs and other college-sponsored activities. It is the responsibility of the student to identify him/herself and formally request accommodations. In order to receive accommodations, students have to provide documentation of the disability from a qualified professional, meet with the director of academic resources to discuss the disability and make arrangements that support academic success, and sign a release of information form. It is most helpful if students identify their needs prior to their arrival on campus. However, the director of academic resources is available to work with students with disabilities at any point in the academic year.
