What should I do when a student discloses a disability?

Ask for the accommodation memo from the Director of Academic Resources. Set up an appointment to discuss the memo and accommodations with the student. Both the student and professor need to sign and date the memo and return it to the Director of Academic Resources.

Students MUST present an accommodation memo in order to receive accommodations. If the student does not have a memo, he or she should be referred to the Director of Academic Resources to request services.
