Peer Tutoring
Students who feel that they could benefit from supplemental instruction in a course should first contact their professor for suggestions and help. If available, students in courses with an academic mentor should also attend review sessions with that mentor. If these options aren't helpful or the student prefers a one-on-one tutoring session, he or she can sign up for peer tutoring.
Peer tutoring is free of charge to students, although tutors are paid by the school. Tutoring can be arranged for any subject and any course. Students interested in receiving supplemental instruction or being a tutor should stop by the Academic Resource Center main desk (or call at x8286) or contact the director of academic resources.
Please request a tutor as soon as possible, as availability is limited. The ARC staff will make every effort to find a tutor for the subject requested.
