Web Accessibility Statement

Franklin College is committed to providing a website that is accessible for all people, regardless of technology or ability.

Our website aims to align with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, developing electronic information for equitable access to individuals with disabilities that is comparable to that provided for individuals without disabilities. We have adopted the criteria for accessibility of online content outlined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and documented as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1.

To assist in our goal of continued maintenance and improvement of website accessibility, we utilize SiteImprove, an inclusivity solution that continually scans our website and provides recommendations for implementing A, AA and AAA-level accessibility objectives.

Our efforts include the following public domains:

Other websites in the college web space, or those of individuals and specific groups, public or private, are not included under our legal mandate although we encourage all employees and groups to make content accessible.

In order to provide the highest quality experience and stay current with industry standards of accessibility, we have decided to move forward with a complete redesign of the franklincollege.edu site. The new site is expected to launch early in 2024.

For questions and concerns related to accessibility, please contact the website administrator at 317.738.8109.
